Hey everyone, it's Amanda here. I hope you're having a wonderful week so far!
As we wrap up our planning for the SS25 collection, I wanted to give you an exclusive sneak peek at the colour palette we've been developing. But more importantly, I need your help to make sure we're creating a range that you'll truly love.
Over the past few months, we've heard from many of you that our current colour offerings don't always align with your personal colour season. So for SS25, we've purposefully curated a palette that spans the four seasons, with the goal of offering shades that flatter a diverse range of skin tones and personal styles.
First, let's take a look back at our previous Limited Edition colours from AW24. These included the rich and cosy Ruby Wine, the decadent Hot Fudge, and the deep, earthy Evergreen.
The response to these shades has been incredible, and it's clear you all have a strong affinity for deeper, moodier tones. But we also know that not every colour works for every skin tone or personal style.
So for SS25, we've purposefully curated a palette that spans the four seasons, with the goal of offering a diverse range of flattering shades.
Take a look at the new colours we have in the pipeline:
Now, I'd love to get your honest feedback. Which of these colours are you most excited about? And are there any other shades you'd love to see us explore for the SS25 collection?
Your input is invaluable as we finalise these decisions. So please, drop a comment below and let me know your thoughts! I can't wait to hear which colours you're hoping to see.
Thank you in advance for your feedback. I'm so grateful to have such an engaged community helping us shape the future of Not Basics.
Love the Lilac Sage, but as a summer palette person I’d also love to see some lighter, clearer colours on offer – perhaps some blues and greens, but also agree with the person who said purple burgundy. I have a real soft spot for purple personally so the more purple the better!
Defo need a black / white staple in your mixes.
But a light grey marl, charcoal grey and then perhaps some brighter colours would be nice.
I adored evergreen! And would love a more purple burgandy and maybe a royal blue!
Ice colours are nice too, like a lavender or a heather.
The burnt olive above looks nice and maybe the outer space but I can’t quite tell if it’s a blue or a grey. The others are a little muddy looking for me.
I love ruby wine, evergreen and hot fudge. They are definitely a bit of me. I don’t really suit muted colours so I’m looking forward to Lilac Sage, Burnt Olive and Outer Space.
I like outer space, but I don’t like muted colours in general. I would love to see some more daring colours
Outer Space is my favourite and I love the idea of collections for each of the colour seasons. As a light summer who’s finally stepped away from an obsession with black, I’d love to see some more soft charcoals, blues and possibly also some muted pastels to play with. Thanks for the opportunity to input, too!
