Hey there everyone, it's Amanda!

I'm over the moon to share a sneak peek of the new styles we've got in the works for our SS25 collection. But before I dive in, I wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you for the incredible feedback you shared on our recent blog post about our SS25 colour palette.

As a brand built around your needs and preferences, we've been absolutely thrilled to connect with you all more directly through the blog. Honestly, I'm not sure why we didn't start doing this sooner - it's been such a powerful reminder that while we may be just a tiny team of three, we've got an amazing community of you all helping to shape this brand.

With that in mind, let me give you a first look at some of the new silhouettes we've got planned for SS25. We know our customers are all about finding classic, timeless pieces that transcend trends and really suit your personal style. A lot of you have also made it clear that you shop based on the shapes you know work best for you - you've got your go-to styles and you stick to what you love.

So for SS25, we want to bring in some new shapes that we're confident you'll add to your wardrobe staples, while also making sure we're really nailing the fit and styling. First up, an iteration of some of our best-selling pieces:

And then a few styles that are a bit more unexpected for us - let me know what you think:

We'd love to get your input - which of these new silhouettes are you most excited about? And are there any other styles you'd love to see us explore for the SS25 collection?

Also, for the square neck, would you prefer to see that in a bodysuit, or would you be more interested in a square neck t-shirt? Keen to hear your thoughts!

Lastly, we released a few new styles in AW24, the Wide Leg Trousers, Relaxed Fit T-Shirt and Ribbed Tank. Would you like to see these in new colours?

I can't wait to hear your feedback - it was so exciting to see your comments flooding in last week, and your input continues to be invaluable in shaping the future of Not Basics. We're so grateful to have such an engaged community alongside us.

I like the square neckline, but I worry about where you have it. Honestly, I’m quite busty, and the V-necks go way too low nipple length) on me. Potentially interested in the Henley style, though worried about gaping on the buttons with the cardigans. I like wrap over leggings style, but I’m short enough that I need to get 7/8 or capri style.

Crew neck and boat neck are still my faves.

Dear Amanda,

First of all I must say that I love the design of the V neck bodies as well as the quality. I have a suggestion. As a bigger chest lady, my bra size is 34G UK size, I have noticed that the stitches that go around the V neck, specially struggle when I wear it, they are slightly coming apart. I thought about adding a reinforcing stitch myself on the inside. Since I have a small silhouette size M but large chest, I didn’t want to size up and have extra low V neck or the back to fit too big neither. Anyways, it was just a comment I wanted to share with you. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to leave suggestions. Much love from Spain! Hopefully my English is not too bad. 😂

Big yes for lilac sage, outer space and burnt olive!! Would love to see a square neck bodysuit piece as I feel it would sit better/smoother and not ride up. I think if the wrap over leggings use the same material and waistband depth that’d go down really well in any colour!

Personally, I’m not so keen on the ribbed styles but the cardigan could be cute – for me it depends on it being a closer fit I can wear as a top almost. I haven’t brought any of the relaxed fit tees yet but these colours would definitely tempt me!

Also love the idea of pastels (a light blue, pink or green maybe).

Looks like a great new range.

I like the crossover shape at the top of the leggings!

Some further thoughts…. I would love a v neck cardigan in the future. Strangely hard to come by!

I do find that your long sleeve boat neck T-shirts are just a bit short. They ride up on me and I’m petit at 5ft4 I tried the medium instead of the small but it still inches up. The body suits solve this so I have bought 2 of those, but I’d probably prefer the T-shirt if it was just an inch or so longer in the body.

In general, I love a sweetheart neckline and deep teal colours so I always look out for those.

The quality of your products is excellent.

Thank you for all your hard work. I know what it takes to run a business with a small team. Keep going girls!

Yes to the jersey shorts! If you make them long enough that they don’t ride up, they’d be perfect to sleep and lounge in warmer weather. Also the new styles from AW24 in more colours (ribbed tank + relaxed tee).
